Clicking a customer or vendor opens its page. The header shows the name, an Active / Inactive tag, the currency, payment terms, tax treatment and how long they have been a customer (or vendor), and the money picture: Receivables (or Payables), Unused credits (open credit notes or vendor credits), Unapplied payments (money paid on account that no invoice or bill has taken yet — shown when there is any) and Opening balance.

Buttons: Email (opens the mail drawer addressed to the contact), Statement (section 4.6) and Edit.

Two tabs:

  • Overview — addresses, contact persons, other details, and the most recent invoices and payments (bills and payments for a vendor).
  • Transactions — full lists of Invoices, Payments received, Credit notes, Estimates and Sales orders for a customer; Bills, Payments made and Vendor credits for a vendor. Each row links to the document, and each list shows its status tags (Draft, Open/Sent, Partial, Overdue, Paid, Written Off; Cancelled, Closed).

The Activities tab (section 2.7) keeps notes, messages and scheduled follow-ups about the relationship.
