Marketing programmes and what they return. Each campaign has a Setup (type, status, dates, budget), Results (leads and opportunities attributed, revenue) and Members — the leads and contacts added to it.

Email sends one message to the campaign's members: pick a CRM mail template, or write a message with a subject. {{ first_name }}, {{ last_name }} and the lead's or contact's other fields are filled in for each person. Each address is mailed once; members without an email address, and addresses that unsubscribed or bounced before, are skipped. Mail goes out in batches from your organisation's name, with replies to the campaign owner, and only while Send CRM email is on (see 18.10). A campaign sends one message at a time; Cancel send stops one part way.

Each send lists what the mail service reported — sent, bounced, skipped and failed — and opens on its recipients, filterable by status. Opens and clicks are not tracked. Every email carries an unsubscribe link (and the one-click unsubscribe mail apps show beside the sender); an address that unsubscribes, bounces or reports the email as spam is skipped by every later send. Messages sent in Setup counts every email the campaign has sent.
