Chapter 1 · Getting started·1 min read·2 topics

  1. Go to the sign-in page — Sign in to LedgersLab, "Pick up where you left off — your books are waiting."
  2. Enter your Email and Password.
  3. Click Sign in. You land on the Workspace.

#If two-factor authentication is turned on

When your account has two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, signing in takes one extra step:

  1. After your password is accepted the screen changes to Enter the 6-digit code — "Open your authenticator app and enter the current code for LedgersLab."
  2. Open your authenticator app, find the current LedgersLab code and type it into Authentication code. Click Verify.
  3. Lost your phone? Click Use a recovery code instead. The screen becomes Enter a recovery code; type one of the recovery codes you saved when you set up 2FA (format xxxx-xxxx-xxxx) and click Verify. Each recovery code works exactly once.
  4. Use authenticator code instead switches back; Cancel abandons the attempt so you can start over.

#Staying signed in — and being signed out

For your protection LedgersLab watches for inactivity. After 15 minutes without any activity a warning appears; if you do not respond you are signed out and returned to the sign-in page. Any form you were part-way through is lost, so save your work before stepping away.

To sign out deliberately, click your name and initials at the top-right of any page and choose Sign out.
