#Activating and signing in
The activation link opens Checking your link, then a form for a Password and Confirm password. If the link has expired the page says This link is no longer valid with Go to sign in and Email me a new link. Afterwards the customer signs in at your portal address — Sign in to your portal — View your invoices, payments and statement — with their Email and Password. Reset your password emails a reset link (If that email has portal access, a reset link is on its way).
#The portal pages
The portal carries your logo and colours (Settings → Organization → Branding). Its rail has four pages:
- Overview — What you owe, and what has been settled: Outstanding, Overdue, Open invoices and the Recent invoices with Paid, Overdue or Open tags.
- Invoices — Every invoice sent to you, and what is still open. Opening one shows Total, Amount due, Due date and the Items. To pay online the customer uses the payment link you send (section 21.3).
- Payments — Payments received against your account, each with its number, date, mode and amount.
- Statement — Everything charged and paid, in order, with the running balance: Opening balance, each transaction and Closing balance.
Tickets a customer raises by email or phone are recorded in the Helpdesk with the Customer portal or other channel (Chapter 16); replies you mark Public reply reach the customer by email.
