From left to right, on every page inside a module:
- Collapse / expand — narrows the rail to icons.
- Module switcher — the current module's name. Click it to open a list of every module (the same list as the Workspace) plus All Modules.
- Company name — click it to open the Workspace (All Modules). When your sign-in belongs to two or more companies, the name carries a small up-and-down arrow and opens Switch company instead: every company you can open, with its currency, and a tick on the one you are in. Picking another company reloads the app in that company's books. Manage companies goes to Settings → Organization → Companies (Chapter 22).
- Search — a global search box. Press / anywhere to jump into it. Results cover records across the modules you can access — customers, invoices, bills, items, employees and so on.
- + Create — a quick-create menu: New invoice, New estimate, New bill, New expense, Receive payment, Make payment, and shortcuts to Customer, Vendor and Item. Only the actions you have permission for are listed. The menu opens the form in place, so you never lose the page you were on.
- Fusion AI — opens the AI assistant as a docked panel on the right of the page (Chapter 20). A dot shows when proposals from the assistant are waiting for a decision.
- My approvals — everything waiting on your approval, across every module, with a count (Chapter 14). Shown only to people who approve something or manage approval rules.
- Theme toggle — switches the whole screen between light and dark. Your choice is remembered on this browser.
- Notifications bell — a dot shows when you have unread notifications. Clicking opens the notifications panel (Chapter 23).
- Help — a menu with Keyboard shortcuts (?), Command palette (⌘K), Show getting started, Take a quick tour, and links into the Helpdesk (all tickets, teams, SLA policies). Owners also see Issue inbox (owner) — the inbox for issues your own team has reported (Chapter 23).
- Your account — your initials and first name. Click it for Sign out.
