#Transfers

Use a transfer to move money between two of your own accounts (bank → cash, current → savings, paying a credit card from the bank).

Banking → Transfers → New transfer (or Transfer on the accounts page): From account *, To account *, Amount *, Date *, Reference (e.g. wire confirmation) and Memo. Save. The transfer posts immediately, and both bank lines will Find match to it when they arrive on the feeds.

The Transfers list shows every transfer with filters for account and date (Last 7 days, Last 30 days, This month, This year).

#Deposits

A bank deposit moves customer payments that were received into Undeposited Funds (a holding account) into the bank as one deposit — the way a batch of cheques or a day's card takings arrive as a single line on your statement.

Banking → Deposits → New deposit: choose Deposit to *, the Deposit date *, a Reference (deposit slip #) and Memo, then tick the undeposited payments to include (each shows the customer, receipt number and amount). The button reads Deposit [total]. The bank line will then match the deposit total rather than each payment.
