12.12The asset page

Chapter 12 · Fixed Assets·1 min read

Header: asset number, description, category, status, assignment (location, department, acquired and in-service dates, warranty) and value (Total cost, Purchase price, Other costs, NBV; Collected so far while it is being built). Tabs: Costs (an asset built over time), Overview (identification, acquisition and source — the vendor and the bill it came from — warranty and insurance), Depreciation, Maintenance, Documents and Activity (the audit history).

Delete is offered only for a pending asset that has nothing on the books. An asset from a bill is cancelled by removing its line or voiding the bill; an asset in use is disposed of, not deleted.
