HRMS → Settings gathers every configuration page:
- General — company profile, departments, job positions, job roles, announcements, mail templates, appearance, and (for administrators) Scheduled jobs: the last run, result and any error of each job HR runs on its own.
- People — shifts, shift schedules, rotating shifts, work types, rotating work types, employee types, employee tags.
- Time Off — leave types, general rules, multiple approval rules.
- Payroll — allowances, deductions, automation, general (section 17.6).
- Hiring — rejection reasons, skills, mail templates, candidate self-service.
- Performance — review periods, objective library, question templates, bonus points.
#What runs on its own
- Every 15 minutes — auto punch-out for shifts that have it.
- Once a day, from 00:30 your time — ended contracts expire; approved shift and work-type requests start and end; rotating shifts and work types move on; recruitment drives past their end date close; today's attendance placeholders are made; announcements get their expiry date; recurring feedback starts; leave resets and carries forward; earned leave is credited; and reminders go out — a document expiring in 30 days and on the day (to the employee), birthdays and work anniversaries (to HR), and today's interviews (to the interviewers).
- Every 3 hours — pay statements are generated where Payroll → Automation is switched on.
A day the scheduler misses is caught up by the next run, and running twice does nothing more. A job that fails is retried on the next run and shows as Failed under Scheduled jobs.
Departments, locations and cost centres are shared with Fixed Assets and live at Settings → Organization in the main Settings module (Chapter 22).
